Ive seen that before. Theres some bad tackles in there from my team as well.

Afterall we have been the dirtiest team statistcly in england for the past 2 seasons and are the dirtiest team so far this year.

When I first saw it I thought whats the fuss about, it looked like he went for the ball. Its a Yellow card nothing more, which is why I can understand why the ref took the action he did.

But watch it over and over again its perhaps the WORST ever tackle Ive ever seen

That wasn't even a tackle, that was an angry thug flailing his arm out, like an idiot.

And what was the point? It's hardly as if he was sacrificing himself. :rolleyes:

Yes you are right. Its a good job there are good doctors at football matches these days otherwise Mendes could have gone the way of Marc Vivien-Foe(granted he wasnt tackled/assaulted but had a birth defect) and ended up dead on the pitch
