Well, put it this way: They finally scored points this season (two field goals even!) so they're closing in on the spread. Last week they lost by 27, this week by 21. Umm I seem to remember a time very recently when Oakland had the best offense in the league. In fact, playing out that rep brought them to Super Bowl 2003. Weird how quickly things can change.

That's the spirit! All of our teams go through times like that. Just look at the 49ers -- on top or near the top of the league for decades and then all of a sudden they're the league laughingstock of the early-mid 00s (whatever this decade is called). Turtle, just keep showing up to the games in black/silver face paint, spikes, skulls and chains (like I know you do!) and your Raiders will pull through. :p

Know what really killed me?? The announcers at the halftime show were talking about one game as "a battle of undefeated teams". WTF?? It's Week 2.... exactly HALF of the teams are undefeated!!!

Halloween, a battle of the undefeateds is worth talking about..... not the second week of the bloody season!!!!!
