Thank you, ABC sports for deciding that I should watch the USC game.... and for telling me that it was over before halftime. But you ALMOST redeemed yourself for giving us the end of the game, and one of the most amazing comebacks in Irish history (and, damn, that's a lot of history!!)

Glad at least you got to watch an exciting game. ;)
I watched UCLA squander a perfectly great lead up at Washington for their first loss this season. It was a devastating fourth quarter.
We just watched the sky show (annual fireworks at a San Diego State game) from my apartment window moments ago, which was the best fireworks show I've ever seen. Never been a San Diego State fan, but damn the sky show is always amazing. :D
Edit: Just checked out the scores from the Notre Dame game. Nineteen unanswered points in the fourth is very impressive indeed!

The NFL sucks compared to the Notre Dame programme;)
I mean, how many pro teams can score 19 unanswered points in the 4th quarter?? Hell, the Steelers couldn't even get a couple of field goals on Monday night.

That's not because the NFL sucks, it's because the college teams can't put up the same defense, and when they do, they concentrate on things like catching interceptions instead of things like sacking the QB. Just look at the Rosebowl last winter: Vince Young carried almost every play, and USC's defense couldn't even get close to him (and they just weren't big enough to want to try!). Then on USC's side, Reggie Bush cut through the Texas defense like a hot knife through butter. Sure, it was fun to watch, but in the NFL those offensive strategies would have fallen apart after just a few successul plays.
In the NFL, things are different. I still have seen some amazing comebacks though. I recall a recent playoff game, 49ers vs. Giants. The 49ers came back 24 points unanswered in something like 17 minutes (so the fourth and the end of the third) to win the game by a single point in the final minute. Amazing stuff happens in the NFL too! :D

The difference is I don't give a damn about the 49ers, and HATE the Giants.
But this was the Fighting Irish. That's the difference:D

The one time he did make a great play, he fucked it up with the lateral.

Really? I thought Bush had done way better. I just remember watching that game and seeing big holes in both sides' defense in almost every play, which is consistent with most college games I watch.
