My Blockbuster is just starting to rent out HD-DVD and Blu-ray this week. We're also a pretty big store and we are a GameRush store. Xbox 360 HD-DVD adapters, however, are not on order in the computer although there is at least a spot in the computer for them (with a retail date of 11/07/06). Does anyone know if GameRushes are going to be getting these drives in the future? The employee 10% discount works on these plus I'd like to trade in some things for one. Thanks.

The Xbox 360 HD-DVD adapters is not out yet. So 11/07.06 is a wrong date. If your blockbuster has a gamerush than yes they will be getting at the gamerush side of the store. Blockbuster video does not carry any hardware like that.

I've seen it out (but in incredibally limited numbers) in other stores like Gamestop. My Gamestop only got in 2 and they sold out day one. I believe the actual release date was 11/14/06.

Funny, I have had mine since last Saturday. (11/11) I believe originally it was scheduled for the 7th then they pushed it back a week. Some stores sold them early. I got mine for $159.99 at Circuit City with a $40 off $199 coupon that is floating around on the usual bargain boards.

I just ran into an old store of mine that just got the HD adapters for the 360 and they got I think 3 of them. So whatever it's worth they are starting to filter into game rushes.

Ah, that's comforting.
