i hadn't realized that what i wrote would have much of an affect- I certainly had no intention of hurting/upsetting anyone. by the racist remark- i assume you mean what i said about hating white people/americans though i happen to be of the white/american demographic-- the concept of the white mans burden, the air of superiority and disdainful ignorance breeds nothing but contempt in me (i have experienced this with 75% of the white people i have encountered- i went to very snobby schools)-- as for america-- george bush, obesity, republicans, guns, christians-- not things i mesh well/identify with. although i hate the metaphysical ideals of the demographic, i certainly do not judge the individual based on their color/creed/etc- which is what i have always thought of as racism. For me, it was your hypocrasy, lack of logic, and lack of research (all hot-button topics to me) that caused the "Opie" comment. For some reason (probably because you hate your race, by your own admittance), you took a racial view of "Opie", where anyone with any respect for history and research would KNOW that Opie was a naive country hick who lived in a Shangra-La type world where no one did anything bad.

You made things worse because, even tho you try to find the inate good in people (which just sets you up to be screwed over in retail, especially if you are trusting fellow employees), you distrust and disrespect these same people on a grand scale.

That's what I said.... Shangra-La is some fantasy place, sort of like Utopia (look that up in a REAL dictonary;), and you'll find that Utopia was actually the name of some fictional place.... and Mayberry is a similar idea).
