Got Canned Today...

Fuckin' bastards let me go after 3 years because we ran out of membership accounts and I couldn't sign up a customer so they wrote a complaint. The complaint was WAY TOO dramatic with her stating that she had a dead mother. They didn't even have my paycheck ready, so I'll have to go back into that fuckin' place again. Ohh, well... I guess it's their loss, but it's still a stupid way to get canned.

Huh? Are you in charge of ordering in your store? And you should have noticed you were getting low,I always check at the beginning of my shift, also you could have had another store fax one to you if you run out. Make copies and presto, back in business. That's what I did one night.
And I do believe there are other factors involved here.
Note: I am not in charge of ordering supplies but I do recommend them when low.

they probably let you go because you call them membership accounts and not membership applications........

there have been cases when u could have just put them in by hand, as long as the information was all correct and it was done properly, should be no issues.

actually in the master file is a .pdf of the application as well as every other form you would have needed

I would always say, "We're out of the forms. I'll put you in temporarily but you may have to fill out the form later on." And then never get around to making them do that.
