Van Holten's Pickle-In-A-Pouch

Two cases of these at register? Really?

We've had 'em for a couple years now. I guess we were actually a test market for once. Get ready for a lot of "they're selling pickles? LOL"

Which probably means a big glass jar of hot links is next. Will the napkins be generic or have the BB logo on them?

I expect a big jar of pickled pigs feet down here in the south next.

Or pickled eggs. Hell, we already have Slim Jims!

Don't laugh: in the South, they keep crock-pots full of boiled peanuts in convenience stores. I wouldn't be suprised if we started having to dip out Styrofoam cups full of them for customers.

"Would you like plain or Cajun Spice? Do you need another cup for your shells? How 'bout a couple of packs of hot sauce?" :p

I can only imagine the shrink with those.

Damn man... Well at least Keyes is doing what he knows best.

Well, maybe it's not such a bad thing, these pickles. At least they're self-contained and the brine makes them practically indestructible. Plus, speaking only for myself, I actually like it when movie theaters sell pickles, because I will buy one. Maybe I'm not the only one? (I hope?)
