The server runs VMS... The dumb terminals are inconsequential. They could just as well be VT100s.

I was watching the video taking into account rk's comments on the pos as well as the signs around the store. It is for sure older signs which is synonymous with franchise stores.
Also the POS looks like franchise. The red screen could be just a video light glare color throw off but the screen that pops up is very similar to the area where you submit your pole message. It appears to be the late 90's early 2000's system before many upgrades which would also be consistent with a franchise store.

I can only partially agree, as it hits on some negative aspects of BBV to hard,for areas like the driving distance, selection issues , lines, copy depth, etc.
