POOL point, is what it used to be called.

2nd, everything comes via ups nowadays and not pool point.

3rd, magazines dont have anything to do with pool point.

4th, im glad you know what's going on.

So what's the spin that corporate is having you guys tell the customers this week?

I don't care how lame the release schedule is, you HAVE to bring in product weekly or you're dead.

wait...

Jeremy beat me to it, but to the OP, it was called POOL POINT because product was pooled together at different points around the country. This was back when the company had money to self-distribute, and hasn't occurred in many years. Magazines, coke, and candy were never delivered via pool point. Only product from the DC (that's the Blockbuster distribution center, not the nation's capital) were delivered via pool point.

It's okay that we didn't get anything. Most of my customers are still catching up on four weeks of stuff that hasn't been in stock.

I am going to tell them that nothing they would recognize is even coming out this week although there are many smaller titles as there are every week. If those are the type of films they are interested in, we are offering a 2 week free trial for our total access program that usually has all of those smaller titles available.

If that doesn't interest them, I will let them know there is a subtitled silent film of one of the titles at www.ihateblockbuster.com staring Kaw, HotHead and Flant. The title is 3 Idiots. And that if they visit, maybe they should recommend the self healing title Forgiveness to those playing both leading and supporting roles in that film.
