hey everybody!
My name is Sara. I worked for blockbuster for 9 years. Was a SM for 6. I loved my job up until a year go when we got redistricted and got the DM from hell. One scare tactic after another I left in September. My store made it through all the closings. I hope the dish network thing works out for the remaining stores. Its the first positive thing i have heard since i left.

Hi everyone. I've been following this site since i heard of it a few years back i guess and this is my first post. Usually I just read...laugh...relate..and find some kind of comfort in knowing there are other people hearing and feeling the same things I do. I have been a store manager for almost 7 years now and up until the last few months loved my job. I guess loosing those feelings for all the same reasons you all are. So now the RDO and DM are going around ( within the last couple of days) going over the blockbuster way. WHAT A JOKE!! i mean do they think we are oblivious to whats going on?? I mean really! They talk to us like we are two years old and have no brains! leaving UNREASONABLE expectations ....to do lists...I have never been so mistreated, felt so unappreciated and hated my job more than this moment! thanks for listening

I have a theory that they bought stock in Netflicks and are deliberately sabotaging Blockbuster...... MUAHAHAHA..... I have the address to a few homeless shelters and a few emergency food box distributors for them!!!!

I am Chrisedge, owner and proprietor of this website. I was in Consumer Electronic Retail Sales for over 10 years when I started this site. Yes it was over $3.22. Your shitty MOD of the store I visited offered to cut up my card when I disputed a late charge showing I returned a video at 2pm in the afternoon when I work M-F 8-5. This was back in the day when videos were due at midnight, and FOS report was run around 12pm-2pm. Some idiot found my dvd on the shelf, checked it in, but didn't credit me, or whatever.

I started the site, because of that and, the fact that my account wasn't closed and someone rented a game a year later on it, and they sent a note to my new home. I had not stepped foot in the place since the shitty treatment, and would never return. Plus I had heard 100's of horror stories among my CE customers about how they were screwed over. Now I get lots of letters from idiots thinking BBV did them wrong in someway, when they were clearly the ones in the wrong, but trust your customers a little more, and have the ability to look at history (I had never returned anything late before)...I know you can do that now.

While I had always hoped that BBV would die a painful death, since I do have a heart, I hope you can turn it around. But nothing would get me to return to a BBV, and I still will hate them.

This site receives over a million hits a month, has been featured on muliple website and been part of a NPR story that I was interviewed for. While it's morphed into something I had not expected (A employee bitching website) I am happy to keep it running since it's paid for by the members/employees. So anyone that feels strong enough to register and email me to tell me what an idiot I am for "wasting my time over $3.22", I provide a service, and it doesn't cost me anything to keep this up. I hate those folks more than I hate BBV.
