Total Access tips and tricks....
okay everyone....
I need help. over the summer, i had NO problem getting activations. we had the highest percent in our district. but now....for some reason.....i am struggling. we only had 6 or 7 last week, and i cant even get people to look at the laptop let alone sign up.... so......HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you in advance

We actually hit 19 last week, we put our best CSR on it on Friday and Saturday night. That's all he was to do. Stand at the counter and address it to everyone and promote the free rental they would get just for signing up (first months coupon). He is so good with the customers, that's what it takes. A CSR who is committed to it. Believe me I have a hard time during the week when I work days. Mostly I have targeted movie pass customers. Not really sure if that is good for us , but that's what they want.

This is why I hate BB. They demand that you deliver numbers, but fall short of furnishing you with the method. You shouldn't be sweating over how to get numbers up. As a company, Blockbuster should be providing you with ways right left and center, so you can focus on making the sales using the tools given, rather than having to come up with the tools yourself.
They changed all our job descriptions to sales at some time in the last five years, but fell short of training us beyond a couple of videos in the back room. Sure, I'll sell rewards, but damn it train or I'm going to suck balls at selling. Give me new exciting promotions, give me the tools so I can be an effective seller. We are getting to the core of why I became so disillusioned with the company.
