Transfers
Ok, i got transfered to antoher store b/c i was working with my g/f, which the store manager knew about it before i was hired. Well some person called a hotline and told them about some other emp working off the clock and about me dating a emp. Well I got transfered to another store which really is out of my way in my gas eating car. The store manager was also transfered to this store. The DM said i would get more hours at this store, well let me tell you 5 hours a week is not more hours than what i was getting at the last one. She told me about a month after i was transfered that i could be transfered to a store closer to home. Well now she says i will not be transfered, what i could say about that person will be left unsaid. I hope blockbuster goes in the hole. it really would be nice to see that company fall apart, i'm tired of being lied to and my schedule changing without a phone call. I was suposed to work a couple of saturdays ago (my only day that week) and guess what, i get to work and it is changed, and i'm off. Well i had that problem at the last store i was at, and guess what its happening here, oh wait could it be b/c i'm working with the same lady....no, that couldn't be it,lol. If i ran this side of the board, i would rule it with a iron fist.

Could be your not worth scheduling, that's what we do here when an employee is not doing their job.

all i read out of that was:
I am not doing my job correctly so i got scheduled one shift a week. but i refuse to admit that i am not doing my job correctly so i will just blame it on my SM or the company. the end.

Assuming the relationship was with someone who did not hold the same position as you (ie- you're a CSR, they are a SL), it doesn't matter that the SM knew about it. The relationship is against BBI policy. Be happy you weren't terminated. We found out about a relationship in our store and gave the involved parties their options:
a) CSR can quit or transfer to store XXXX1 that has a CSR spot available. b) SL can quit or transfer to store XXXX2 that has a SL spot available. c) We fire both of you if neither a or b is selected by tomorrow at 5PM. Only difference in your situation is that you weren't offered the option. What happened at the new store is independent of your previous issues. |
