I tell customers "Movies are due back before close on X day" and I get people saying "So, you guys ARE closing? Then why should I bring my movies back?" My response is that we close every night and reopen the next day. They then realize that they made a mistake and make a beeline for the door.

What I dont get is when one store in our area was closing, they would still rent for 2 weeks. So end result some customers would return movies after 2 weeks to a closed store. The company response was just return the movies to another blockbuster, the thing is, not a fucking damn thing was done to set it up for this situation. I had 20 people call me and bitch that they returned the movie and got charged.
I bet Keyes just wanted us to sell them a presale on the chance they would come back to the store after all this crap |

Just rent 4 games out next week. You got a 1 in 4 chance of renting at a store that will be closing(that's if the whole company doesn't close). I love that our dm threatens to fire us for not hitting our goals, days before the company is gonna close. Its like threatening to throw water at a drowning person.

Another bad sign when corporate tells us that frito lay and perry's ice cream won't be refilled. Hopefully blockbuster keeps paying their pickle bill, or else we will really be screwed.
