The Simpsons Movie

Now for those who dont know I adore the simpsons and can sit there for hours and hours watching them on DVD. Been disapointed with some of the latests series but thats to be expected because the older episodes are TV GOLD. which made me worry that the movie may be a let down especially since everyone is raving about it which usually gets your hopes up.

I was wrong to worry I was in the Cinema at 00:01 for an advanced screening of the movie and I must say it was possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

From the very first scene to the end credits I was laughing my arse off and proper into the storyline as well which is so surreal yet at the same time thought provoking and funny. You dont have to look too far for little digs at people in power yet the way its written its like watching that first episode I watched around 17 years ago. You just want more.

I dont want to give the plot away but the use of the Springfield citizens is excellent and one of the best things about the movie its not full of cameos, there are two I can count and both are set within the plot.

Watch this movie, Im going again

I want to see this. I can't wait to hear Nelson saying "Ha ha" on the big screen.

Awww, come on, Lomi! It's The Simpsons Movie! It's something was like nearly two decades in the making. It was meant to be seen in a theater. You have to!

I'll send you a pic of any body part you choose, and I won't even ask what you want it for.

Never really got into the Simpsons... have some of the earlier seasons on DVD, just one of those things I have never had time for.

What I have seen, I have really liked.

So, BM, will I be able to follow along with the movie, or will I be lost because of my lack of Simpsons knowledge??
