You suppose the timing of this might have anything to do with that jumbo debt payment that's due July 1st?

Well those games did not go to our Direct Access. They were sold to a 3 rd party need to raise some quick cash. Of course if we would sell 1 more $5 bundle per shift and an extra rewards we wouldn't be in this pickle.....

Yeah, it was sold off in bulk to an outside company. It consisted of anything more than 32 weeks old so the newer ppg's we are keeping mostly from things converted over from rental. I know it's weird and it sucks but believe it or not we did the same thing over at gamestop when I worked there.

If you want to be a cynic sure. Or you could say that we're paying down 25% of our payment due in July with product we couldn't sell.

If getting money for games that weren't selling keeps the company going that much longer, then great. But you can't blame Yoda for being cynical. If you've got a huge debt payment hanging over your head that you might not be able to pay, it's pretty hard to justify bonuses of that size to the people at the top.

NOT TO MENTION some employees who haven't gotten a raise in over two years. We work hard, deal with the corporate bullshit decisions with the actual customers, get treated like crap, do a ton of work and still get shit for it.

cynical is the only way we can be until we get a different job
