You're such a detective Air! But, God, these are getting dull now - hardly, 'manager swaur @ me and icanproveitandheshouldbefired'. Has there been a sudden influx of Blockbuster hate?

Me: “Do you know if you’ll be getting any extra copies of Lost Planet in any time soon?”

Store Manager: “For a videogame? We don’t really do those here.”

Me: “So you just tried to sell me a monthly pass for over twenty dollars to check out a product you ‘don’t really do?’”

Store Manager: “They’re just not that popular now.”

Me: “If they’re not that popular then why would you be all checked out?”

Store Manager: “It must be a good game.”
I really, really, really doubt it went like that. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that the SM (if it even was the SM - what kind of SM has never heard of 'Lost Planet'?!) did not say, “For a videogame? We don’t really do those here.”

It's only fair, I mean we call customers dicks all the time right? Maybe not to their face... well most of us at least .

Probably an ex emp who got termed for no call no shows and wanted to make up another dumb bbv did me wrong customer story.

I'm thinking of posting a bad story about my right toenail and complain that its just rude because it keeps growing and I cant find my clippers. I'm sure a site like digg or this other one posted here will add it to its daily misaligned gossip.

I like how the customer claimed to get "sick pleasure" out of the conversation, when it was not only boring, but the way I see it, it was dominated by the actual employee. Several times the employee made an effort to offer a solution (try another store, try another game) but the customer was busy trying to "manipulate" things by giving cunning answers.. Ooh.

I can't believe he went and blogged the most boring conversation in the history of Blockbuster.

Sometimes the 15 year old kids take pride in the most trivial gains. At least he was proud of himself now because hes obviously going to have a very disheartening adulthood.
