I actually did that once and a woman refused to take the new cards, and did not want it, even if it were free...She stood there and I had to do a credit lol...worst customer ever. She rents every week, and rents several movies...so imagine my disappointment.

This was a rough pill to swallow when I heard it the other week,

I completely agree that a 30 dollar a month service is a great deal more challenging to sell that the rewards which works out to what like 83 cents a month?

definetly a different pitch is needed to push them

Um.

Didn't we stop pushing the Movie Passes, like, 2 years ago *because* they weren't making us any money?

The price was cheaper then - like 19.99 or something. This time it is ten dollars more, so it will make us some money.

MOVIE PASS -

The perfect way to make that customer who spends $60 a month in your store spend $30 a month instead.

The funny thing is that I remember when we were selling onlines, one of the main strategies was to convert Movie Passers because of the price savings. Now we have to argue for Movie Pass in a 180 degree fashion, and oh, by the way, it is more money per month than it used to be.

Remember the pricing test that jumped up Total Access premium significantly once again? Well.. the natural way to catch the customers that bail after that happens is MoviePass since that's where they came from in the first place.

That could be what you guys are warming up to here.

My target is the online customer. Most of mine are doing the unlimited online, so MP would really be better since most just want NR. No shipping time and I make money off it.
