I had this one spanish dude call me racist cause I didnt speak spanish

Customer: You speak Spanish?
Me: No sorry

Yeah, it was kind of a blow to me too. I was looking forward to seeing more stuff from him. Our store is considered an "African American store" and so a Bernie Mac memorial was a no-brainer. Weird thing was, all day Sunday, people kept stopping at it. It was almost as if they wished they had flowers to place underneath it.

A few weeks ago, and older/middle aged gentelman comes up to the register.

C: Do you have the movie on that poster out there?

He points to the window behind me.

Me: 21?

C: No, that smaller one.

Me: Soul Caliber 4?

C: Yeah.

Me: Oh, that's a video gome, not a movie.

C: Where can I find it?

Me: It's in out video game section on the wall.

I point to our game section on the wall. He walks away and comes back with one of the cover boxes.

C: Do you have this where I can play it in my dvd player?

Me: Like I said. It's a video game, not a movie. You can't play it on a dvd player. Only on a video game system.

C: That's stupid.

I once answered a customer with, "Stupid is as stupid does, Sir." He stared at me for a few seconds, then laughed. He's now one of my favourite customers.

i get a phone call the other day. this lady actually asks for me, a lowly csr, and when i answer, i get "WHAT MOVIE WERE WE TALKING ABOUT? i can't remember...

: Lady, i just got here, i wasnt talking to you about any movies.

: Veronica, yes you were, you are lying to me

: well then, we you in the store?

: yes, i was! i was talking to you!

:what color hair do i have then>

:um, red?

:no, i have brown

:no, then it was brown then!
:anyways, tell me what movie we were talking about!

this woman was serious as all hell she spoke to me about some dumb movie, but i assured her it was my store manager, deb, to whom she was speaking to, and she just got so mad when she found out she was out for the day, and still asked "well then do you know what movie im talking about?"

should have told her, hold on a second, and left her on hold. when she called back ask her if she is on both lines, because you were just talking to her
