It is the SM & SAM's responsibility to make sure the shift is covered.
Problems in the family always come first! Especially with children! My ASM is awseome. She would do it in a heartbeat. It is the SM that wouldn't. |

So, I'm still trying to figure out if the OP is a CSR or SL.
First things first...Family. They're first. I'm an SL and if something happened with my family where it was an immediate emergency...and NO ONE could help...I'd close. So what...they're movies. I'm talking about, I'm at work, 11am, there was an accident...and no one can be reached. That's when you call everyone possible and last resort, the store isn't open. There are things in life that are more important than a customer renting a movie...and probably an online exchange! Second! If you're a manager and you're telling another manager that your daughter "trumps," a class...I'd be annoyed with it but probably reluctantly do it unless I was going to fail or something else. Regardless, different things are important to different people. But seriously...is the OP a SL or CSR!? |
