My favorite Nintendo moment is when the removed the words "of quality" from the Nintendo seal. I think that really sums up what the Wii means to me. Its all about the Benjamins baby!

Now it's time to get the facts straight. Nintendo USED to be a card company. Past tense needed here. They haven't been a card company since the 1950s and they've been STRICTLY a video game company since the 1970s. Where you got this idea that they still make cards is beyond me. Please lay off the crack. Unlike M$ and Sony, they deal EXCLUSIVELY in video game hardware and software now and have been doing so for many, many years. This makes them the only TRUE video game company still producing hardware. Please do a little research on Wikipedia or something before you try to debate this stuff.

don't hate, i'm just hanging out, voicing my opinions. i can perceive nintendo as a card company if i want.
I'm hanging out, working my way up to the big 1k posts. I don't think fighting games ever left. Hey, i'll even throw a bone at nintendo... Super Smash Bros. One of the best games out there in my opinion. The sequal was even better, Super Smash Bros Melee. Not a big fan of the third one, Super Smash Bros Brawl. There was too much overpowered items and moves and stuff in that one. What I feel saved it was it was gamecube remote compatible. Good god that wii-mote is not my style. Since the ps1, n64, dreamcast generation, If you were into the fighting games, the dreamcast was the way to go. They had a real focus on the arcade style games. specificly some great fighting gems. Speaking of gems, Power Gem. What an awesome game that was. 3d stages! Over the years I've enjoyed a few fighting games. I really like the soul calibur series. Fighting with different style weapons are way more interesting the they different styles of weaponless combat that a couple other games of their time offered. Tekken and Dead or Alive for example were not my cup of tea. As a Dragon Ball fanboy I've enjoyed the DBZ budokai series based less on the inovative gameplay as i did on playing as my favorite characters and doing their special moves. Over the past year I put a fair amount of time into Final Fantasy: Dissidia. Again like DBZ Budokai, I can't get enough doing my favorite characters special moves. The health bar system is really different and i like it. Whooh was Blazblue a trip. thats a recent one. If you're like me and have given FPS a fair chance and generally don't care for it, or can look past the endless gimmick games that are effecting all systems, not just nintendo (although nintendo is getting way more than the others) you can have the time to see exciting new innovative things coming out in all genres. Do you know how much time and energy it takes a developer to make a really good action rpg? I wish there were more of those. I just played my first Ys game for the first time and it was awesome. I think this is the genre to look out for in the future.

Heck yeah! Its a great game! I can't wait for all the new Street Fighter/Capcom verus games that are coming out. The new Mortal Kombat looks great as well. It's done like Street Fighter 4 3D on a 2D plane. Old School Mortal Kombat gameplay! That's what I am talking about!
