Is a promotion the only way to get a raise now? No other exceptions?

If so is it possible to negotiate the amount of your pay raise when being promoted? I know that there is a standard .50 raise from CSR to 4Star but is there anyway to milk a little more money out of the jump? What about from 4Star to SL?

there really isn't much wiggle room. nothing that you could appreciate, at least.

back in the day SMs used to be able to sign off on raises.. boy, was that fun. of course i was too young at the time and in a lesser position and didnt get to take advantage of that -- but i still know of many who are still around reaping the benefits.

Anyone know about Store Manager Bonuses? I'm about to get surgery on my wrist for carpal tunnel, and once I'm healed I may be thinking of going back to BBV as a Store Manager.

sar, or anyone else that knows?

Also is blockbuster still closing stores left and right like they were a couple years ago when I left?

He's been saying that everyday for the past two months. Why should today be any different?

So the DM decides what the pay raise is for promotions?

Pretty much! I think you get a 15% raise automatically then you can ask for a bit more but be careful because the DM will know your pay rate and put more pressure on you. (assuming she has a good memory)
