This is actually what I was thinking.

Actually, I was too busy trying not to crack up over the fact that this guy was a Mexican and apparently the only English word he knew was "Shooting."

Aww sorry to hear that Hailey. I think for us in the UK it's mainly people acting all high and mighty that pisses us off most. I don't get many customers who actually insult any of the team, in fact that's extremely rare, but their arrogant and self-absorbed attitudes are what really grate.

I've had a few customers be REALLY picky over the discs. I am picky with retail discs myself so I can often understand it, but with rental customers I cannot. I have had it a couple of times, like yourself, when they look at the disc and say "That won't play", and I'm thinking "What do you really know? Just try the fucking disc before you moan".

One time when a customer was making a comment on one of the discs I couldn't contain myself and spoke out. He looked at the disc's surface and then rubbed it down his shirt, I had to say:
"Actually that's more likely to make it worse".

I know, give me shouty-sweary any day, at least you can be rude to them.

The arrogant ones are the ones it's hardest to convey your disdain for also, like on here, or later to your fellow workers.

"So, I had a guy say something earlier, but it was, like, totally the way he said it!"

That's what annoys me about them... they very air of them. At least shouty-sweary probably is just having a bad day. The arrogant ones go through life like this, behaving this way every day, and never doubting they're always right for a single second. Yuck.

Yep, we'll be supporting the same team for a change.

I really ought to do my term paper, though. Boo.

After all...

Same rule works for the easily offended. Every time a customer expressed their disgust to me that certain words exist and can be spoken by actors on film or that a director had visually acknowledged that people have 'naughty' parts, their complaints ALWAYS featured the phrase "I'm not easily offended" Lying douchebags!

I truly am a person who is not easily offended and do you know how many times I have registered a complaint about a work of fiction that I voluntarily chose to watch? ZERO FUCKING TIMES!

So I really didn't want to make a new thread about this, so I posted this here.

A MP customer that comes in often was in tonight, I hear her while I'm in the backroom, and I go up front to see her (I keep trying to get her to sign up for online, she says she should, tonight the lappytoppy was messing up.) and bug her and all that. She said hi to me by name and that startled me to begin with Well she goes and picks out a BSI for her free rewards rental and comes back up to the counter and tells me we have a mutual friend, and curious I ask who. Apparently, it's just a former coworker, and she hands me her number in case I want to hang out with her (and supposedly him) anytime.

Funny thing is I see her and her friend go off by my cooler and start talking about something, I think to myself 'it'd be funny if she gave me her number'.

I'm actually kind of excited

HOWEVER, DILEMMA!

I have a wonderful girl I'm dating, what do I do IHBB?!
