Candyland I can maybe see, but Monopoly???? Watching the old dude get out of jail-collect $200 dollars??? What kid/teen today even remembers Stretch Armstrong? The creativity level in Hollywood has sunk to any all new low...and their making ANOTHER Alvin and the Chipmunks movie...Good Lord!Half the time when I go to the movies and see the trailers I'm thinking who green lighted this p.o.s.?

So it appears that board games have now replaced old TV shows as the best source for new major motion pictures from Hollywood. I'm sorry we never saw big screen treatments of Facts of Life, Love Boat, or Knots Landing.

I will seek solace in the thought that next summer should bring us star-driven vehicles like Slinky! and The Adventures of Silly Putty.
