I'm collecting a check until either my store closes or they fire me. That's how I view it now. Although it is nice to see the orgasmic glee in some customer's faces when you hand them that "Free 99 Cent Movie Rental" coupon.

Tell me about it! Was checking in returns the other night and someone had put 5 movies in the drop box, all of them were 10 days late. Over $50 in late fees, won't they be "pleased" on their next visit (or when they next check their credit card statement).

Sold 8 pieces today alone. It's one of the few things I've actually liked (that was not directly movie or game related) that they brought into the store. It actually makes money and looks good unlike a few other things from our past.....That's right, I'm looking at you werewolf fangs, tomato planters and obscure stickers. I joined after customers stopped showing up. Most activity was current employees telling stories about the things that go on in their stores. I joined in on that.

Now I hardly post at all. You guys are great. Kept me going for a little while. New job continues to be infinitely nicer than blockbuster.

I still work at big blue I only really check in here to see the latest news early... That way I don't have to rely on my bosses for everything and I've caught them more than a few times not sharing everything they know which just pisses me off.
