Great so we can get double the write ups for being just enough over labor that it ruins our once clean records

No one to tell about your clean record if the company has been liquidated ... and even if they are not liquidated HR cannot talk about your record anyway ...

I don't even understand why we had to implement the CAM process. Did that many SMs have trouble firing bad employees? And if it was supposed to be for coaching purposes, that is sort of the point of a corrective action.

Cam's store isn't all that far from the one I worked at, so we were familiar with him even before CAM went national. I seem to recall that he was not well thought of by other managers in the area.

I remember (right as CAM was starting to roll) that he was on a conference call with my SM and she told me some of his comments. You know how they've said that CAM was never supposed to be about firing people?

Well it sure sounded like termination was a pretty integral part of it, even at the beginning. What really irritated me was how cavalier he sounded about it. Cam probably didn't deserve the amount of shit he received when corporate applied his process nationwide, but he still came across as a huge tool.

I understand what you are saying Mom but I don't want bullshit reasons in my folder, just so the DM can feel better about theirselves. I don't think being a tad bit over in labor should constitute a flipping write up. But that is my opinion and obviously it doesn't matter, not to the DM anyway.

Of course they will, and use their store employees as toilet paper....
