It's a "use it or loose it" frame of mind right now. The new company owners will not honor PTO accrued I'm sure. Just my opinion though.

If you carried PTO over from last year it had to be used before Q2, other wise you would loose it.

I would use up all of my PTO too!! Especially if I knew I was getting ready to lose it.

I don't understand what's wrong with using up one's PTO? Isn't it something someone earns and is free to use at one's descression? I remember building my PTO up to a block of 16 hours (since they're used in blocks of 4) and telling my sm to please apply my PTO onto my next paycheck. I did that every time I accumulated 16 hours accumulated.

Did I miss another point to the topic?

Yea man. I just cash it out with my paycheck every couple months. I dont ever take the vacation.
