South Korean Firm Bids For Bankrupt Blockbuster

I had heard twice in the last two weeks about this potential bid but did not have a name to go with the company. Now apparently I do....

South Korean can make so much damn money in their own country. There really isn't thing to do there lol expect play games and watch movies lol

Whoa, weird. I can't imagine this is good for us at the stores here in the U.S. They probably just want to use the brand in Korea, I can't imagine they care about US operations.

I will admit I have no idea of their intentions but I have been led to believe their interest stems from wanting to expand their operations to the US. I have even been told that a couple of interested bidders are not only interested in keeping the stores, but expanding them. Only time will tell.

Do you feel same with this idea? Somehow I can them buying us because the entertainment industry is very big in South Korea

Could be worse...coulda been the North Koreans?

Kim Jong IS a huge American movie buff...wonder if he'd be eligable for Blockbuster Online?
