Transformers copy deth BIG

We got over 80 copies on bluray and over 100 on DVD O_O we double from last transformers lol

Was dish's plan to give out free rentals of Thor to keep the customer coming back in because the next major title will have plenty of copies? I guess Transformers is better than Thor

My store got 25 dvd rentals of Transformers-not sure how many Blurays but not more than 12. How the hell did your store get so much and we got so few?

Some good copy depth, what's the population of the area you live in? If Blockbuster bought these at $16 per Bluray and $12 for dvd, thats a lot of rentals to make up. Not sure if Blockbuster does rentrak or buys outright. Also not sure what kind of deal they get from the studios if they do an outright purchase. What price do you rent out new releases for? At my rental price of $3 it would be 800 rents before I broke even at that cost. I would be losing a lot as big titles get about 200 turns at my store.

Ummm its an enticement so when they raise prices they can collect more revenue...as long as the customer has a good memory on the available, customer service, and price they are sire to keep coming back when you increase your prices

Our copy depth is horrible and the extended rental periods created by the great combo pass program only serve to amplify the problem. It's nice making zero dollars on the rentals and zero dollars on late charges from said rentals.

Welcome to the new economy. Zero dollars = profit.

There are 160,000 people in the county I live in and approx. 5 or 6 Blockbusters. None of the stores in my district-which includes stores that are in other counties-were sent more than 35 copies of Transformers on dvd.
