It isn't too shabby. But like other "reality" shows, I question how much of it is authentic. Everything seems staged. Reality shows are faker than pro-wrestling, except that unlike pro-wrestling, they're still trying to convince us this shit is actually real.

i love pawn stars, but it's staged. the things the old man says off the cuff are sooooo scripted. And look at Rick's eyebrows....he has none in the show itself...but, during the "opening" - when they are pretending to open their open 24 hours store, Rick has very darkened scowling eyebrows so he looks tough.
And don't even get me started on that big ass ugly green painting that they have hanging on the wall.
