Game Presales?
Does BBV still do them or have they pretty much given up on that front?
Im surprised they werent more successful given how many people hate/have issue with Gamestop AKA The "Evil G"...Id say gamestop has as many current/former employee haters as Blockbuster. I guess BBV's downfall with game presales was that they didnt really advertise/market that they did it....but still youd think with games being as expensive as they are, renting games (especially now that its cheaper) would be a big hit. |

Yep, we still do them. And right now, when people pre-order certain titles, they get a month of the combo pass for free.
They'd slowed down on them for a while, with little to no mention at all for months. But yesterday, for the first time in a long long time, we got in pre-sale inserts for the endcap. For the longest, we'd been printing them out ourselves. Probably a sign we're going to be getting back into the whole pre-sale thing.

I never understood why BBV didnt capitalize on the games more though, I mean there arent really any competitors in terms of renting the games from a brick and mortar store...from an online standpoint theres Gamefly but my experiences with Gamefly have been pretty bad
