Teen Steals Car, Slams into Blockbuster

http://www.fox40.com/news/headlines/...,7728419.story

ELK GROVE—
A teen driving an alleged stolen car slammed into a Blockbuster store.

Early Wednesday morning, cops were called to an area of Elk Grove near Old Town for reports of a group of teens breaking into cars.

Cops tried to pull over one of the suspect’s cars when it took off, leading officers on a chase that reached speeds of 80 mph.

The driver lost control of the RAV4 near the intersection of Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road. The car jumped over the curb, knocked over a stop light, then slammed into a blockbuster, breaking a water pipe in the wall of the building.

The driver, identified as Marquis Youngblood, took off running, but was found by K-9 officers a short time later hiding in some bushes. Cops are now looking for the other people involved in the original car break-ins.

The employees better have said "Welcome to Blockbuster" or that's a Blockbuster Way violation.

If they didn't sell that kid a bundle, they're all fired.

Guess that leaves 574 stores staying open now.

Some old man ran his car into a BBV in my district several years ago. Do you think the DM let them close? My store didn't have power for 8 days due to a natural disaster and my DM wanted us to stay open and escort customers with flashlights and asked why we weren't selling rewards.......

Thank God Keyes and Dunlap are history -- or they would've had the epiphanic notion that Blockbuster should now have drive-thru service.
