Sales advise needed.
Hey guys, I know I'm a relatively new member to these boards, but I'm coming to the last place I know where to look.
I am seeking any advise for selling Confection, Direct Access, Presales etc. primarily because I am an SL who is on the chopping block because I'm not meeting sales goals; and frankly I do not want to lose my job. No matter how hard I try, how many people I ask. The answer is always no. Please help |

My advice is to start looking for another job, no matter how hard you try, it is not going to be good enough.

Yeah rewards is gonna be a pain in the butt...
As for confection bundles... as was said earlier ASK EVERYONE! Make sure they are on display properly.. I usually say: "Today we have a special, you can get 1 candy, 1 drink, 1 popcorn for $3" while pointing at the items in the bundle box next to the register. If someone walks up with one of the items in the bundle... you better know the price difference if they upgrade to a bundle...and point it out to them Also if someone comes up with a bucket of popcorn... or another item that isn't included... try to switch them over to the bundle by mentioning the price difference. |

That worked, until regular customers realized that "special" seems to never go away. Bring on rewards, I am sick of trying to sound enthusiastic about this "special" to the same people who never want it.

Coupons
Hand out copuons! I know it's a pain in the ass to get out to "EVERY" customer, but the coupons work. I never got any results by just asking, at least after using the coupons I would get at least 4 on a shift during the slow times.
p.s. I'm sure they will come up with a new coupon now that includes rewards, movies, and candy bundle. |

As for the "coupons", unfortunately at this point, the vast majority of our customers know that the coupons are just for show. But that's what happens when you run a "special" for that long. Bottom line: ask everyone and pray.
