worst close ever ._.
omg half the customers had balances over $40, wtf! but it was just stupid busy in general on a friggin tuesday night!
my SL blames it on Couples Retreat but most people were coming in for Time Streaker's Wife. the worst moment of the night: a regular customers who CLEARLY has deep pockets (he has a double coated hummer with really expensive rims, brings his iphone in and all his kids have a DSi) wants to argue with me over .53 in late fees! WTF! so, to secure that this guy continues to spend at least $200/month in our store, i credit his $1.06 balance down to $0.53. and then he has the gall to give me his work card. written on the back: "you should feel better about yourself." i wanted to run out the door, stop him in his hummer and jam the card in his face. but i had customers =/ oh and it would've been illegal =/ oh and wtf NO TWILIGHT PRESALES! not a one tonight even though i asked just about everyone who wasn't renting the new Universal Soldier. ok sleep time *bow* |

I understand halfing a $10 fee for say, 5 movies being two days late and then putting a warning saying "one time credit" or something. But halfing a dollar fee? Really?

I wonder if it has anything to do with Netflix and Redbox not being to stock it thanks to the 30 day window. This is probably exactly what Blockbuster was hoping for.

But it makes perfect sense to credit late fees off of his account if he will continue spend a lot of money in your store. Doing otherwise would only hurt you. The guaranteed $200 he brings to the store is far more important than a two dollar fee. |
