5 lb bag of starbucks espresso beans (and another 5 lbs in the deep freeze! )

You should keep those at room temp, somewhere as dry as possible, as tightly sealed as possible, and where it's dark. In a canister/tupperware tends to work well.

Freezer is a common faux paux with coffee. It's actually too damp, and coffee beans are like baking soda - they absorb odors and flavors from the air (so everything in your freezer).

Just a tip from someone who knows way too much about coffee for their own good.
