We just got ours in too. I think one customer summed it up best when he looked at them and said, "It looks like a pickle fetus."
Now that's all I can think of when I look at them.

Around Christmas, we have (now had) these regular pass customers that came in. And the husband would always buy the pickles-in-a-pouch. So, to strike up some conversation, I asked the husband:
me: So, did you get a pickle in your stocking for Christmas? cust: *smirks and looks at his wife* No, but she got a pickle in her stocking for Christmas! We were all cracking up... I so walked into that one.

last week i mentioned one of my customers bought a bunch of pickles. he came back today and bought the 2 cases of big papas we just got in just before we put them out.

haha nice.
one thing i've noticed is when we put both boxes of Big Papas and Hot Mamas on the counter, they sell FAST. eventually, for some stupid reason, my SM decides "hey, let's just use one box and separate them half and half". it's like they've stopped selling completely. sometimes i just feel that my SM makes these petty, random and dumb decisions on purpose. she's well on her way to being a perfect DM! |
