Rental Terms?

So did they ever decide on company wide rental terms? i know last time I went in a store they had some kind of funky rental scheme that I cant remember exactly. What do game rentals and movie rentals run people now a days?

Where I work they are all one day rentals, a dollar per day if they keep it longer. The only exception is $1.99 games...they are $1.99 per day if kept longer.
