Benefits Question...

Hey everyone...just a quick question here...

For some reasons I won't go into here, I will no longer be covered by my dad's health insurance policy as of my 20th birthday, which is coming up later this month...

So I was wondering how health insurance is with BB, I've heard there are a couple different options and various degrees of coverage...but I'm not sure because I'm part-time how that would affect my eligibility...

I know I got some info about benefits when I was hired in November of 2007, but I've since misplaced this... I did call the number in the Blue Book for employee benefits, but after winding my way through the automated system, it just told me to call a different number for claims...And all I'm looking for is information...Normally I would ask my SM about this, but she's on vacation for this whole week...

I've heard the health benefits suck, but I'm sure it would be better than nothing at all...so any info anyone has would be extremely helpful...

Any manager in the store can order a part time benefits enrollment package. Just ask them to do so during the next chance they get and the whole ESO order system is working again.

You can also contact your DTSM (District training store manager) for info and packets, provided they are worth their salt and are doing their job.

You can also go direct to the source and call the Benefits department. They share a line with Payroll. (864) 594-3200

It's not the greatest, but it's better than none or going outside and paying a fortune for it.

i have the middle of the 3 tiers. i have a 20 dollar copay for regular drs visits, 100 er visit..etc.

My monthly dosage of medication generally costs about 32 bucks with our prescription plan.

i have had insurance for so long, i don't even know how much i pay, and when it DOES go up, its hardly enough for me to notice. but i am a SM. so i am not sure how part time insurance works.
