Chinese to buy Hummer Brand
Correct me if I am wrong. I just read that GM is selling this brand to the Chinese.
Doesn't Hummer make U.S. military vehicles?

We have a history of giving weapons to states who eventually become our enemies...it's good to see the favor returned for once.

Actually besides Buick which is like a Cadillac over there , the Chinese are very loyal to domestically manufactured brands, hummers don't sell well in China. A very small heavy machinery company is purchasing Hummer for less the 500 million dollars. This company was NOT in the consumer car market before this purchase. I kinda knew this was going to happen for a while, but the biggest blow came when GM couldn't save Saturn, one if its only brands that were manufacturing smaller more fuel efficient cars, and a brand that could......one day go toe to toe with Toyota.

I have found out that the hummer brand they bought has nothing to do with the military versions, although I can just see the Chinese Military driving them with Chrome wheels, flat screen TV's , monster speakers playing rap music. And side ladders to get in them.
