Eh? Linux is a Unix Variant. I don't understand your question? Virtualbox? Its fun to dabble with other OS. Especially an OS I don't want installed sucking resources. Also comes in handy for using legacy Windows OS.. for older software that wont run in capability mode on Windows 7.

Or are you talking about OS X? Yeah, I don't want that trash sucking resources. So, I don't want it installed. Sometimes you just feel like test driving.

If I am not answering your question please clarify.

Apple and linux are unix varients...apple ia more of a unix enviroment.

Mountain Lion OS on up is built on the Unix backbone. Linux was derived and inspired by Unix.

Yes ok gotcha. Reason same as above. I don't want to hard install it. Using it in VirtualBox is fine considering I don't use Mac ever. I just have it to have.
