Meh... I've priced searched stuff out for the prepaids through most other places including directly through the providers and the deals are average... not great, but average on here. But if they do it right, they may pull it off but not a lot of faith in that after all the hype heard when they originally bought BBI and all the great things including tv spots nationwide, all kinds of great marketing and advertising, etc... for the most part it fizzled right away. So maybe they will have learned from that and will promote this the right way. Hopefully they don't try to add cell phone sales onto the CSR's in the stores on top of all the other stuff they have to sell.

Even with new corporate overlords, Blockbuster is still too late in the game.

This is kind of off-topic, but I'm looking to get a new smartphone for Christmas. If I'm looking for the most technologically sophisticated/advanced phone, would that be the Droid Razor Maxx HD? Or is there something more powerful out there?

That question is pointed at whom? Are you talking about a verizon phone I assume whst is price range? Will you start or renew a contract? Most verizon phones are based off tmobile why is that ? because tmobile is first to embrace android. Windows phones not so much tmobile was charging the same amount for an 810 when att was charging the same amount for a 910. 910 was flagship...

In my opinion verizon phones are meh...

I have left a link you should read it so you get a better understanding though somthing may have 4 cores and 1.5 ghz processor it can still be slower than a 2 core 1 ghz phone. Its what you want in a phone, I have both of these previous phones listed ( tmobile)

Phone bench testing.

Overall top 20 list...

Thanks for the info/links. I will actually be switching over from T-Mobile in a couple weeks to Verizon. For the last 2 years, I have been using a MyTouch 4G and have, for the most part, been pleased with it. I'm definitely ready for a technology upgrade, though. What is your opinion on the new Droid DNA? Looks impressive, but then again, I guess just about any new smartphone does to me...

Stick with tmobile unless your a business person I mean strixkly business. The limitations verizon put on its customers is only good if work paying for it.

The my touch blowss you would be happy witb a galaxy 3...unlimited 10 megs 110 dollars tmobile...same thing Verizon. ..150-170. Get verizon if you like dated phones and want to pay for gimmicks thorough put is the same with both networks...

If your a tech fanatic verizon 10% faster internet would work better if the phone can pick up on that but as you see from earlier links though a phone can process data faster doesnt mean it will load it or responde to the data faster...I am pretty technical tmobile works for me....

Fyi...5g slated for 2015 all this 4g hype is bullshit irks me...not enouph air waves to support 2g 3g 4g and 5g....

Also if your at home more than 50% of the time your phone should be set on wifi...then you have the fastest internet a phone can handle... if your wifi speed sucks then its your router not the phone or network...

I would go witb the phone I currently have the galaxy note 2 from tmobile. Driod dna is copy cat to late in the game...the reviews I read is galaxy note 2 is superior to driod dna. It doesnt always come down to the carrier Samsung is destroying the market with thier products...
