John Rabe
so i didn't want to like this film and had a good feeling the film would have its inaccuracies and/or biases.
but no, they did a really great job with this film. there was so much i've always wondered about the events of Nanking during WW2 like why there was no international intervention and how is it that the Japanese have never felt the need to take responsibility for the massacres. they put it all together quite perfectly and the acting was great. definitely one to suggest to those who like historical/war/international films.
