Just a couple of questions

Since my store closed I'm curious if Store Managers still have to do local buys?

Now that so many stores are closing this round, what is happening with the DM's and Territory Manager?

Are employees still being threatened to achieve sales goals?

Local buys still have to be done, but only for certain titles. Usually they are Disney titles. The regions and territories were realigned. They pretty much put the rsms that were being fired in charge of the closing stores. Territories have just been made larger.

That seems to be something they do each time they have stores closing. All those dms and what not get shifted into the closing areas to take care of them. Also seems like every year the districts (whats left of them) get realigned and the areas these guys have to cover just gets larger and larger.

No...everything is fine...business as usual. As a matter of fact, Blockbuster plans on opening 1000 sores over the next few months. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=871-3XMhtAk
