is the "box office" going to run slowly since everybody is trying to use it at once? because most times when i try to print UPS labels, it takes an hour or so. Last thing i need is less time helping customers. Other than the issue of it being slow, it sounds good.

I was part of the beta test of Box Office during the 4th quarter of 2009 and almost none of that stuff is true. Also, the last place I want my compass computer is anywhere near the front.

Yes part of the Beta test. We have used this for more than what you know. I least I know you are in Dallas. It was not well received her as it still had lots of bugs, hence the word Beta test. So please let me know what things are not true, so I can see why. |

here are some very positive things. 1. It will allow the home office to see how much time task actually take. How many times have we dumped tons of work on you guys in the middle of the week, with no extra labor?-True this feature was be built during the beta phase, you can still list a time when a process is assigned 2. Ensures that the company is all on the same message.Verison you have in Dallas will be different in the rollout. 3. Allows you to go back and locate past programs and maps with ease. Process monitor has s search feature built in 4. Allows you to report numbers to DMs without text or phone calls.True see it everyday 5. Allow us to determine if the price change is really worth it.True, you guys would have no visibility to this and would not have been put into place for only one 6. Allows you to report a problem on the computer instead of calling store support. This request goes to a persons email box to get solved.Turned on for a week and it is already working 7. Allows us to see if we have a wide spread issue. True Number one complaint...it is in the back room. So we are moving it up front. |

On another note, yes this my first response in a long time, but I can't take it anymore. I have a family I have to raise and I am going to college to better myself and you have to throw extra stress on me and other fellow SMs in the test market, for what? As if the pressure from not knowing if my store will still be there next period isn't enough? |

You also seem to be one of these people that think we can't do anything right. What is your presale numbers (send in PM). I bet they are lower than other stores. Have you called computer support? If so did you have your Dm escalated the problem? If not send me the trouble ticket and I will do your job for you. I normally do not respond this way, but we have systems put into place and you need to be ready to change with them. |

Question: Can you get my SM fired? Thanks.
No, but for real, that 700+ piece PRP destroy this weekend was great, but we need more at my store at least. Like I said... swimming in PRP. Another 400 or so should do it, but once we start getting pulls again, it's going to start piling up. The problem is we just don't sell PRP as fast as we transfer rental to PRP. Any ways to fix this? We have PRP tables by the door and we follow price changes and map changes. The customers just don't want to buy it at 2 for 20 or 3 for 20. Last edited by empbal; March 15th, 2010 at 09:48 PM. |

Seriously. My former store blew through PRP's like crazy. I'm obviously not there anymore, but I can still let you know which store, in case you're interested. Shoot me a PM.
